Zero stars regarding Recruitment-Lying staff work here.

Zero stars regarding Recruitment-Lying staff work here. I applied for a complaint's role as I've got extensive experience in Financial Services including Banking. Received a very belittling email from a Chelsea Harper didn't have my name on it claimed I didn't have any experience at all. A complete lie spoke to David claimed that a Lynne Griffiths is the contact centre manager another lie she is a Recruitment Delivery Manager UK. Claimed I didn't have end to end management skills in complaint's another lie I've got seven years managerial experience in compliance that is higher than dealing with complaints with extensive experience. A person doesn't ways deal with the complaint from start to finish it depends on the complexity of it. Then a Charles then lied to obtain my email address and then my name when there isn't a complaint's email address

The worst of worst

The worst of worst. Jesus Christ will investigate and judge TP. I am warning everyone not to work at TP. Very bad salary with terrible condition. No help at all from HR. You never get an respond or call from HR. To much stress for nothing. Nothing never really works and bonus is just a lie. The worst experience. The company does not care about the workers or costumers. They dont let to use the phone during work but when can i find a place to rent or a real estate agent? To many nonsense rules and ac too cold or too hot. Of course nothing really get repaired.

A terrible tech mafia company…

A terrible tech mafia company outsourcing the lowest paying American jobs then making it even more low paying by taking close to 80% of what you earn them. Only bribes and incentives to insurance companies and policy makers keep them afloat and operational otherwise these modern day slave houses would have been closed long ago.

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling. Ive been set a letter saying that i owe a total of £378.24 in overpayment from when i worked for Teleperformance 4 years ago. They have threatened a third party to collect the money unless i pay. Ive sent multiple emails and tried calling on several occasions but i just cant get through to anyone. How can a company be so incredibly bad? They cant pay wages properly and then threaten to get bailiffs to collect the money 4 years later. Im willing to pay but they literally wont answer me😂😂

I work for Teleperformance For two…

I work for Teleperformance For two years under the client, United healthcare. I enjoyed my job and had pretty good supervisors. Three a go Teleperformance loss the transportation part of the contract therefore we were all laid off. A meeting was called to inform our last day would be April 4. I put in for an Unemployment right away and start looking for a job. I was contacted today by unemployment stating that I was not laid off per Teleperformance, one of their supervisors Had informed some of the advocates that Teleperformance will try to pull this so we should make sure that we screenshot all communications on the layoff. Just want to let you know that is what I’m going through now fighting for an Unemployment for a company that I gave my all.🤔

Shame I even had to give these one…

Shame I even had to give these one star. Really do not work for these 2 weeks training to work for the SLC contact then expected to take calls with hardly any support, after 3 weeks of none stop stress and anxiety enough was enough. Upper management don't care that you are struggling the response is your doing ok and offer no further training or support. It maybe better on a different campaign but the SLC one is shocking

Real talk

Real talk - I first joined Teleperformance in January 2024 working on the His Majesty's Passport Office campaign. Honestly, this was a walk in the park compared to what came next. After 3 months working in his majesty passport office, I moved to another campaign called the Student Loans Company. This was a very difficult campaign and requires you to actually use your brain - the kind of work where you can't just go through the motions. Of course you'll get system issues and all sorts of tech problems etc... which is just the norm nowadays, but you have to troubleshoot while keeping customers happy. I then decided to leave the company after working there for 6 months due to family issues that needed my attention. After 5-6 months away, I needed another job so I contacted the recruitment department at Teleperformance, and they managed to secure me a position in the Virgin Money campaign! My new start date as a customer service advisor for Virgin Money was 27th January 2025, I was pleased! Think about it - leave a company then join again? That shows they actually care if you're a good person and a solid worker. Anyways - when I started on my start date, the training was quite overwhelming. But I know deep down no amount of training really prepares you for going live and taking those calls. So I just absorbed what I could during training, and when I started taking calls live I dealt with the worst of the worst of customers - the ones who test every ounce of your patience - and also dealt with angels who are just the nicest customers you'll ever come across. It's that balance that keeps you going. I worked in the Virgin Money campaign full time initially, then I requested to go part time due to personal commitments, and they managed to accommodate for me without making it a big deal. One thing I do say - they genuinely do care about your mental health, and if you're struggling managers will actually help you. It's sad to see all the negative reviews online because I personally had a really good experience with this company. It's really just down to having nice managers and good people around you. Of course you get the few handful of managers who have a chip on their shoulders and are just weird negative energies - I could say their names but I won't. When it comes to breaks and holidays, I always got my requests accepted with only a few declines (if you're taking the mick with unreasonable timing). But honest to God, Teleperformance has been great to me and they deserve some recognition for that. From the recruitment department down to the managers on the floor, (shout out to Ross Cavin and Chris Hamilton). These guys really made feel supported, especially during those rough first few weeks taking live calls. These are the types of guys you want to hire for leadership positions - people who actually lead rather than just manage. Overall - if you're willing to put in the work and you find yourself with a good team, Teleperformance can be a really solid place to work. Im not saying this with an incentive, but i am being brutally honest. I did have 2 disciplinary meetings through out my time at TP - which just led to a formal warning due to my mobile phone going off whilst on live calls - but what do you expect when dealing with sensitive data? I have come to realise over the years and working with different companies that you will get tested, you will deal with weird people but if you remain a solid and positive you will reap the rewards. Theirs a ton of other little things i could mention but hopefully you get the picture.

I applied for a position to start 18…

I applied for a position to start 18 Aug as advertised online. I was then offered the 18 Aug to start but advised week before computer equipment would be sent to me with a call from it to set everything up- on this information I resigned my other position 4 Aug. 11 Aug this company emails me - less than a week before start date to say they have changed to 1 sep for operational reasons! Zero care that this was leaving me with no income and no offer to pay me for delayed start date! I have reported this company to acas! Be warned if they do this before you start it shows how much they just do not care!

Don't work here!

Have worked here for 2 years. In Spain they hire people to get training money from the government and then fire them right before their probation period ends. Have seen long term employees get fired for no valid reason at all. You're not in a secure position even with a permanent contract. Wouldn't recommend working here!

Stay well away from this organisation.

If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. I was offered a role on a “conditional” basis, but had I known the extent of the documentation and evidence required—before even having a firm job offer—I would not have invested my time. As others have mentioned, the process demonstrated a concerning lack of professionalism, clarity, and empathy. I was initially offered one role, only to be told it was no longer available, then presented with alternatives that also disappeared just as quickly. All of this for a minimum‑wage position. The amount of effort required was excessive. Each time I believed I had provided sufficient information, further requests followed. In all my years of applying for roles, I have never encountered such a poor and unnecessarily burdensome experience. Most employers are satisfied with references from previous HR departments; however, this organisation insisted on accessing payroll information, including bank details, through Experian and other third parties. Their understanding of GDPR also appeared questionable. Overall, this process was a significant waste of time. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution unless they are prepared to spend weeks navigating an overly complicated and intrusive vetting process. In my view, it simply isn’t worth it.

WORST BGV MANAGEMENT

Two employees named ROHIT and SAHIL, who are in charge of the BGV process, show very poor judgment and a lack of professionalism. They kept harassing me for four days in between my training sessions. All the details from my previous organization match perfectly except that TaskUs uses my nickname, while the source email contains my full name and employee ID. I have no idea what TP sees in these two individuals to hire them for such a critical role in background verification. Honestly, TELEPERFORMANCE has the worst management I have encountered in my 13 years as a working professional; even TaskUs manages things far better than this company does. They begin training only after proper document verification is completed. This organization does not even deserve one star rating—if there were an option for minus one rating then every former employee should give it that score out of frustration with their harassment practices—I ended up resigning just 20 days into joining because I was so irritated by how they treated me during this period."

Unprofessional, contradictory & misleading

I applied for a vacancy with this company on a referral basis from Jobcentre Plus. I've been looking for another job where I can work from home and also have more hours with better working conditions. So, when my advisor told me about this vacancy I thought I'd give it a go, especially as the contract was for the DWP and the pay was decent enough for my needs. However, from day one, the application was a painfully slow process: I couldn't log in as the site said I'd already applied for the job, which is ironic as I couldn't log in. I have applied for a job before with them, but never heard anything so, I thought I'll use my other email address and register as a new user. This seemed to work. From then on, it was a constant roller-coaster of sending information within impossible time frames, especially as I am still employed elsewhere. As if that wasn't bad enough, whatever information I sent was never good enough - they always wanted more and now that I've read similar reviews about the same issue, I'm very concerned about my personal information and how it's being used. One email I received was around 14.20 requesting further ID and further proof of address eventhough, I'd sent photos of documents off the list provided. The deadline for sending this was 08.00 the next morning! Hang on a minute... I've told you I'm already working and, for some reason, you also think that I'll be sending this info' by post...Erm...why would I be doing that? Not to mention they wanted ORIGINAL copies (passports, etc..) sent through the POST! I think not. This is what I mean by the instructions being contradictory and confusing: telling you to do this a certain way then, the next paragraph instructs you to do it another way, because of...what? You've told me you want further evidence by the next morning, yet TELL me I'll be sending it by post, which will take how long? And why by post? The next morning, I received an email stating that my application had been withdrawn due to missing the deadline. The audacity of it! Although, I am actually glad I didn't send anything. Alarm bells did ring. To make matters worse, there is no way of contacting anyone to help with the application, other than a so - called contact email request page for which there is a drop down menu to pick from - none of which include applying for a job. Even after completing the 'on boarding' process and submitting my information, it was a further week before I even received a reply (probably checking me out and not liking that I don't have Facebook, etc.. I don't even use my real name anyway). A bit of a liberty when I was being forced in to rushing to supply ID and complete online tests in 24 hours (for certain criteria. Reading regulations and whatever, was around 48 hours). I also recall that when I did reply to an email enquiring about their request, I never had a reply or, someone totally different replied. Needless to say, continuity is lost and the answer is unsatisfactory, that is, if you receive one! This application of mine had been going on since 26th February, finally culminating in a thanks - but - no - thanks - email this morning. However, what I didn't realise was, there is an absolute breach of data protection. It appears I wasn't the only rejected candidate this morning...14 of us received the same email. I know this because we were all sent each other's addresses. Needless to say, they also have mine! Half an hour later I received exactly the same email minus the extra addresses. Why bother, I've seen them. Absolutely laughable. The reason supplied was, apparently, because I couldn't conform to the ridiculous time frames being imposed. Personally, I think it was due to myself stating that their timeliness are unreasonable and that won't be resigning from my present job until I have a secure tenure from TP. That and ageism: Their social media account photos (assuming they are real) are just full of young people and openly advertise the fact the company is geared towards employing the young - particularly the 18 to 24 year old age group. Obviously, in the UK, it's illegal to advertise vacancies for a certain age group - unless it's for legal reasons, of course. So, as the TP company employees don't know how old applicants are until the ID info' is submitted, I suppose this is how applicants are sifted. If I could give this experience zero stars I definitely would. I'm only relieved I haven't already handed - in my notice at my present job, (my gut told me not to) although I'd already accepted the offer of employment for this vacancy from TP. Anyway, I have an appointment at the JCP next Friday and will be showing some of these horrific reviews to my advisor. I seem to be one of the lucky ones and feel I've dodged a bullet!

A total mass

A total mass, from the training to leadership. Bombarded with information and files that we need to memorize or search in on an average call of 5 minutes. Monthly changes to already agreed schedule and salary. Not to mention, promises and duties that where promised during the interview 90% never happened. I'm not even sure that people will even leave the office to work from home. The office work is nice but not like this.
