Nexa has suggested keeping them in the orbit of the IT department so they’re controlled by the area.  In summary, Nexa focused on dividing what had to be approved and implemented company-wide and what parts were the responsibility of the IT department. At first, I thought everything was for everyone, but it wasn’t like that. Additionally, they brought a pre-made risk management plan. Without knowing our company, Nexa started with the common risks and proposed a template we still use daily to track how we advance controls together.
